On May 30th, 2025, SFS updated their Global Subscription Reference Currency (GSRC) from NGN to USD, which has affected Escort Account Activation rates, Upgrade to VIP rates and others.

Did SFS Change Escort Account Activation Rates or Any Other Subscription Rates?

No! The escort account activation rate remains $10 USD for Nigerian advertisers paying in dollars—this has not changed. And upgrade to VIP remains what it has always been: 1 USD for 24 hours and so on.

What Has Changed?

– The $10 USD value now applies to all Nigerian advertisers, regardless of the currency they want to pay with.

– For non-USD payments, SFS automatically converts $10 into your local currency using real-time exchange rates (sourced from Yahoo Finance/Google).

Example: Today’s rate (June 1st, 2025) may show N15,886 which is $10 in naira, but this adjusts daily based on global market fluctuations.

Why the Naira Rate Adjustment?

1. New Management Hub: SFS has recently relocated its management headquarters to a developed nation. Thus, instead of direct naira payments, we now receive the naira equivalent of $10 from our advertisers in Nigeria / Africa.

2. Global Ad Campaigns: SFS now purchases ads internationally—paid in a standard currency (USD)—to attract more global clients.

3. Growth Strategy: Transitioning to a global client base improves service quality and reach.

While the local currency display fluctuates, the actual activation cost remains $10 USD—exactly as it has always been.
